Hi good day. I had an x-ray yesterday for my job requirements. It says" examination shows minimal fibrotic fibrotic infiltrates in right suprahilar area, wherein residual fibrosis is considered." But im still fit to work. Just wanna know and understand my examination. Things how to cure. Or any suggestions. Please. Thanks.
Your X-ray findings suggests minimal fibrosis in right suprahilar region. It may be due to sequel of past infection.Lung parenchyma heals by fibrosis and calcification. It is generally a permanent benign finding and patient usually doesn't require any treatment. Fibrosis in lung may require treatment only when it compromises pulmonary functions.
